crocs are the best, but these...... December 28, 2008 Lucie G. Bailey (Hampton, NY) I love crocs and have half a dozen pairs. Bought these Croc Bistro for use in the fall and winter in the Northeast. They have no ventilation and therefore create sweaty feet. Even with socks that wick they still make your feet feel wet. Don't like this style for that reason. Otherwise they are extra comfortable and more support for the foot. Deep footbed, great arch support. I just need some ventilation to let my feet breath. There is a model with ventilation on the lower sides and I will try those.
Perfect for any Professional Chef December 13, 2008 John M. Snyder (Chambersburg, PA USA) Great Fit, Great Price, Great Seller! Highly recommend for any profesional chef and/or kitchen staff required to stand for long periods of time. Throw out those rubber matts on your floors and buy a pair of these crocs instead!
What a croc! December 7, 2008 Wolf Von Schlegel When I first purchased a pair of these, I really enjoyed them and they have great soles that prevented slipping even in the heaviest grease. But after working a few months in them, my feet started getting sore, then eventually became painful. When you work 8 hours each day, these aren't the best choice of support. I even have bruises on both feet just below the ankles from these, hopefully I didn't mess up anything permanent with these stupid shoes. This isn't an isolated case either, many other employees where I work bought pairs of these and they've had to quit using them as well because of the pain. I would probably recommend these if you wouldn't be using these all the time. But if your full-time job depends on it, don't bet on these!
Good shoes August 6, 2008 H. Hindle (Midwest US) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Comfortable and comply with work standards. Need more support and feet get sweaty (unavoidable with no vents).
the most comfortable work shoe I have ever had March 21, 2008 Waylon Monk (Panama City Beach, Florida United States) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
After wearing a pair for one week I cannot go back to any other work shoe. Slip resistant, water resistant. bacteria and odor resistant. These are the most comfortable footwear for high volume kitchen work. I will never use any other shoe.
