Superb hiking sock September 29, 2007 James Stedronsky (Litchfield, Ct.) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This might be the best deal in hiking socks out there. I wore this sock over a liner sock for five days and 75 miles of hiking with a pack. The sock is very plush and shock abosrbant. The weather was early fall, 60-80%. The sock was warm in the morning and cool at the end of the day. My feet stayed dry. At the end of the day the sock was almost as fresh as when I put it on in the morning. It is very techie. It not only has merino wool and Cool max but also anti-microbrial fibers. Not sure how they work, but the stocks and boots were never smelly. Oh yes, no blisters at all. At this price it's a no brainer. Also bought the sock liner and the holofiber low cuts. After several days I was wearing the holofibers as the liner socks. They gave better cushioning.
