Must buy September 16, 2008 Iyawo 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After spending hours and days looking for a light weight stroller, this was the one that i picked, though i thought it was a bit pricey. It suits my 1 yr old very well, and my height because i am almost 6ft tall. I still can't figure how the canopy attaches to the velcro, and it could do better with a cup holder or cell phone and key storage near the handles. The instructions are not the best to understand beacuse they are mainly pictures. Of course the basket is not meant for heavy stuff, but it sure looks good and light to manouver. I love it!
Great features, quality and a deal for the $$$! September 8, 2008 K. Neely (California) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this stroller! With my 1st child I had a Chicco umbrella stroller that I loved, however that exact stroller was redesign and I felt the newer model was lacking. I didn't like that the new Chicco only partially reclined and felt that the sunshade was lacking adequate coverage. The Facile has everything my original Chicco had. The seat reclines to 4 positions and I really like that my child can lay way back and sleep comfortably w/o being slumped over. The seat is comfortable - slightly padded but firm, unlike a true umbrella stroller where the seat is loose fabric that forms more of a bucket seat. I live in an area w/intense summer sun so a good sunshade is a must. The sunshade has a clear window on top so mom or dad can keep an eye on the little one while walking. The window also has a fabric flap that covers and velcros closed so that sun doesn't burn your little one's head. The sunshade provides good coverage while the seat is fully reclined and I have been able to release the velcro straps that attach it to the stroller frame so that I can get nearly FULL coverage while my child is seated upright. I LOVE this feature! The basket is OK - it could have been bigger, but it does the job. The fabric is nylon, so I think it probably doesn't breath as well as some other materials but my child doesn't ever seem to get overheated in it. It's easy to push. Handles are up taller than a standard stroller which means I never kick the back wheels - this is a great feature for taller people. A steal of a deal for $50 - when compared to other strollers in this class you can spend upwards of $200. I hate spending a small fortune on strollers and I am sooo happy with this purchase. Highly recommend and would definitely purchase again.
Decent Stroller August 28, 2008 L. O'Connor (NC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I replaced a Britax Esprit stroller (which is now retired and I hated) with this stroller. I needed a smaller stroller that I could use for quick trips and traveling when my larger travel system stroller was just too big. Having said that, this stroller folds up very small and is a nice one to have for traveling. The stroller is very easy to push, turns really easily, reclines nicely, has a decent sized basket to store things (no lightweight stroller has a huge basket), has a good sized sun shade, and the seat supports my daughter well (where the Britax she would sink into the seat). My biggest complaint with the stroller is that the material gets dirty really easily (which may just show more on the aqua stroller) and I do not like the way you have to unfold and fold the stroller. I never found a mid-priced lightweight stroller with a parent's tray so I just bought a little one that velcro's to the handles and it works out beautifully. I am much happier with this stroller than with my Britax, but I am only about 80% happy with this one.
