Meet Elsa's top-of-the-line, head-of-the-pack graphics accelerator - The GLoria-XL. This powerful card is reserved for the animation and visualization professionals running MCAD, animation, simulation and virtual reality applications. Ordinary 3D functions behave in extraordinary ways with the GLoria-XL's advanced hardware acceleration and dedicated geometry processing. The GLoria-XL's base configuration includes 16MB of high-speed VRAM display memory. It reaches 250MHz RAMDAC, and boot VGA support is provided by an on-board Trio64V2/DX with 1MB DRAM (S3). It also supports a high resolution of 1920x1200 (Hi Color), at a flicker-free 75Hz refresh. The GLoria-XL supports multiple screen operations in Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0 using two identical GLoria graphics cards. Behind this dazzle sit the powerful GLINT MX and GLINT Delta processors, jointly responsible for managing and displaying detailed, complicated graphics functions. The GLINT Delta 3D setup engine acts as a front-end processor to the GLINT MX third-generation rendering engine. By processing setup calculations for lines, polygons and other 3D primitives, the GLINT Delta improves overall system performance by freeing the CPU from overburdening 3D applications. As a result, 3D performance is three times faster than conventional rendering-engine-only solutions. This technology optimizes professional 3D applications such as AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, I-DEAS, Pro/ENGINEER, Solid Edge and others. The GLoria-XL provides total hardware support for OpenGL, HEIDI and Direct3D standards. It also supports the DirectDraw video standard. Multiple drivers, software and utilities are included with the GLoria-XL to give users a complete graphics solution for many current professional 2D/3D applications. The GLoria-XL meets VESA DPMS and DD2CB standards.
