Product Description This Portuguese cheese brought to mind the Spanish Toledo and Pimentino cheese, if they had aged and became quite the characters. All these cheeses are rubbed with paprika to aquire that distinct color in the rind, but Cabra Pimentao is made exclusively of goat's milk, and aged longer for a more rugged texture and more complex flavor. The rind is beautifully colored by the paprika, however the cheese itself is not spicy, but fairly smooth in flavor with a firm texture. Cabra Pimentao is also rubbed in olive oil that helps delivery a buttery finish on the tongue. Packaged in a rustic wooden crate.
