Product Description Smoked Kurpianka is a sausage-shaped cheese with a semi firm texture from Poland. It is an instant palate pleaser with its smoky, edible rind and a pleasing springy texture that melts in your mouth. The smokiness is mild with a touch of garlic which complements this tasty cow's milk cheese. If you love smoked cheese try this new addition as a change from the usual smoked cheeses from Holland, Spain, and Germany.- Made from cow's milk.

We LOVE this Cheese...Smoked YUM! October 4, 2008 Sweets Lover! (Moody, Maine United States) I purchased this cheese from iGourmet years ago, and both my husband and I thought it was SO DELICIOUS! I've reordered it a few times since...if I could afford to, I'd always have it in the house! It's strong without being too strong, quite dense, and wonderfully smoky! Until I tried it, I really hadn't eaten many "smoked" foods. When I read the other review, I knew I had to put in my two cents...and 5 Stars! Excellent eaten alone...but great on sandwiches too...yummy for grilled cheese! If you don't mind very flavorful cheese...you should definitely give it a try. And Yes, there is a garlic flavor to it...but frankly I hadn't thought about that until the other reviewer mentioned it, as we both Love Garlic!
No Mention of Garlic in description August 16, 2008 Nicholai (Santa Barbara) I ordered this cheese hoping for a good smoky flavor. It does taste smokey, but the garlic added was an unpleasant surprise for me. I think that garlic, being such a strong ingredient, should always be disclosed. I recieved credit from igourmet. ok
