5 out of 5 stars LOVE THIS PRODUCT (law student)   October 6, 2008
T. Dam (Quebec city, Canada)
Like I said in my review for the Mighty Bright bookstand, this product has a really solid stucture that you really can't tell from looking the picture. The metal parts a lot thicker than shown in the picture. I'm sure it's more solid that any of those more expensive plastic ones here on amazon.
Might bright is a great bookstand if you want to save $1 otherwise, go with the Easi-Reader (canadian buyers beware, very hard to get the latter, amazon won't ship it to Canada I had to get it from Independant Living Aids, other US based companies carry it too but shipping gets expensive- no where to be found in Canada)

Downside, it's great for large books, cookbooks, papers. But it is not built for small paperback novels. You can balance the book on it but one small movement throws everthing off.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing   September 13, 2008

A wonderful product that says what it does... can be used for sheets of paper or huge books (I'm a med student). It's a simple, compact design that doesn't need to be anything more complicated. I've waded through many other products and finally somehow found this one. Everything else was more expensive, unnecessarily complicated, and wouldn't be affective at holding the huge textbooks I have to deal with it, as well as packets of paper I deal with as well. Overall a wonderful product and I'm glad I bought it.

5 out of 5 stars Easy to use, works great.   September 8, 2008

This product works great for any size book. It stores easily and is light-weight. I use it mostly for cookbooks and I couldn't ask for anything better. I highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Great for college!   August 4, 2008
Cami Nguyen (New Orleans, LA)
The book stand can hold most of my textbooks while I study in the library at school. It's better than my old "bookstand" which was just my scrunched up booksack. Now I can study without trying to angle the pages out of the shadow.

It's foldable which makes it portable. Again I think it's great for college.

5 out of 5 stars awesome!   June 27, 2008
Deb (columbus ohio)
I got this today in the mail and have only used it for one book so far (Internal Medicine Just the Facts, a paperback but medium thickness book) and it is great! At first when I saw it I wondered how such a thin and flimsy appearing thing would be able to hold up a book but it works. Haven't tried it with anything but 1 book so far, but I'm excited. I recommend getting it from Independent Living Aids because they have cheaper shipping and handling.
