Nice Rebound November 5, 2008 Shalla DeGuzman (United States) Good to practice on, especially if you're just starting out because it's a lot quieter than a real drum. It's my first one, I'm new to this, so I wonder if it's supposed to get scuff marks easily. It would be nice if it came with a stand.
too loud for a practice pad June 21, 2008 V. Bulakh (Canada) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
while its much quieter than a real drum, its still much too loud for a practice pad. If you're living with someone I suggest you get a pad with a rubber surface, i found those to be exponentially quieter, and they feel just as great. I think the type of plastic used contributes to the loudness, its hard and fragile, and it feels a bit cheap. I'm not surprised the rim won't last long if you do rimshots on it.
Works Well! February 16, 2008 A. J. Kleingartner (North Dakota) Our son loves this - we hear him rat-a-tap-tapping on it on a regular basis! Works well, sure 'beats' a real drum and he still gets the feeling of playing on a 'real' drum.
Excellent value, high quality, tunable practice drum pad January 27, 2008 R. P. Reeve (Burlingame CA) A great product from Remo, with a nice feel to it and tunable using the flat-bladed key provided. Fits a standard threaded stand too. Good value and recommended.
