Product Description
Like their roof prism relatives, the porro prism line-up provides great durability and performance in a "traditional" porro prism design. Compact to full-sized, the contemporary styling houses fully coated optics. Suffice to say, images are crisp, clear and bright - even in low light. Affordable for any and all interested in magnifying life to its fullest.PRODUCT FEATURES: Multi-coated optics for superior light transmission and brightness; Non-slip rubber armor absorbs shock while providing a firm grip; Contemporary styling.

Amazon.com Product Description
Bushnell PowerView binoculars offer the best of both worlds, combining contemporary styling and design with traditional Bushnell quality and durability. This particular PowerView binocular offers a 20x magnification--among the most powerful in its class--and a 50mm objective diameter. The multicoated optics, meanwhile, guarantee superior light transmission and brightness, helping you see just about any target, whether you're searching for birds or trying to get a better view of the football field. And users will love the patented InstaFocus focusing system, which holds your subject in sharp focus with a touch of the fingertip. Additional features include a porro prism system, a nonslip rubber armor housing that absorbs shock while providing a firm grip, a neck strap, and 9mm of eye relief.

4 out of 5 stars Nice Binoculars but.....   December 1, 2008
John Addams
When I first received these binoculars I was seeing a double image. I tried re-adjusting them as per the instructions but no luck.

I then contacted Bushnell tech support via their website's email. No luck, they never responded to me, even as I write this review. It's been over a month now.

I took it upon myself to un-screw each of the larger lenses's then re-screwed them on and bingo I fixed the double image problem. They now work great.

Even though I believe that Bushnell has good products, I would not make them my first choice in purchasing any other products that they manufacture simply because of the total lack of their customer service practices.

4 out of 5 stars REVIEW OF BUSHNELL 20X50 BINOCULARS   November 23, 2008
H. L. Hall (VIEW PARK, CA. USA)
PRODUCT IS AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED. LIGHTWEIGHT AND EASY TO FOCUS. DOES REQUIRE A STEADY HAND OR BRACE.

4 out of 5 stars Better than anticipated   November 15, 2008
Donald P. Gagnon (Rhode Island, USA)
As a town agency inspecting possible development sites, I needed versatile, fairly rugged, yet budget priced binoculars. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. These Bushnells were built very rugged, were surprisingly clear and easy to use and offered a much better field of view than similar models we had used in the past.
The carrying case could be beefed up a little more if, like me, you tend to toss them in the back of the SUV and head out into the field. The lens caps also were a little skimpy and easy to lose. But, for a good day-to-day field work unit, it offers both ruggedness and precision viewing. Easy to focus and the magnification is perfect when you are in locations that tend to be inaccessible and you need long-range viewing power. In that price range, the Bushnell 20x50 is more than worth the investment.

4 out of 5 stars Birdwatcher   September 18, 2008

Super magnification. The eyepieces do not come closse enough for a small person to use both eyes at once. It will be left for the male member of the family.

4 out of 5 stars Bushnell Binoculars   September 8, 2008
John F. Gittings (Auburn AL)
I am happy with both pair of binoculars as I sit on my deck and look over the pond and other animals I have on my small farm. They were just what I wanted.
