I bought this game as a Christmas gift for a friend and we had so much fun making Sims and arranging their houses! I played the first one a couple of years ago and it was great, but all the improvements they've added have made the game superb! Sims 3 is coming out soon, but I wonder "how can you improve on perfection?"

This game is so addicting, you may need a support group for it. I love it!!! It's ten times better than the Sims 1, and I thought that would be hard to top.

Primarily been used by a teen and pre-teen so far. Here is their review: They said it is cool that you can use pre-built houses. You can customize your Sims more than with the other versions. The characters look very realistic. The houses can be built more than two stories tall.

since i received this game i have not played it because my dvd driver decided to not work ..i think it stopped working on purpose, but from what i have heard ,its a good game ..my kids at work has it and they were the ones who actually convinced me to buy it ..it is a good game apparently.good luck

Included in this value pack is the original The Sims 2 plus The Nightlife Expansion Pack and The Celebration Stuff Pack. These originally sold for $[...]. Now you can get this great value all rolled up in to one package for $[...]. There is so much to do in this game it's unbelievable. We own every expansion pack for The Sims 2 and our entire family plays it. You can design your own people. Move them into a pre-built house or build your own. You can get a job and try to climb up the career ladder. This game is always throwing surprises at you for example, your house can catch fire or get broken into, or family members can get sick or even die, you can get promoted in your job for doing a good job or be fired for always arriving late. You decide if your Sim lies around al day and develops a beer gut or exercises every day and gets in shape. Also you can develop skills in many different areas for example at first everything that you cook is a burnt and nasty but if you keep practicing you can become quite the little chef. I could go on for hours but this game is so cheap you really just need to try it for yourself. You won't regret it because it's a blast.
