Works Somewhat.... November 18, 2008 I have two of these in my master-bath because the original switch is behind the door. One of the switches will turn the light on but will not turn it off. The other switch works as designed most of the time. This one will turn on all by itself...kind of weird waking up at 3 am with the light on in the bathroom.
crappy October 31, 2008 Received the Levitron 602-6696-W Switch/Switch Kit, installed it and it (the remote) didn't work at all beyond one foot from the wall switch. Returned the item, received a replacement, and the remote switch would not turn the light off. Returned that "Kit" and, instead, ordered a different manufacturer's remote switch from Amazon (difficult to find on their menu search.) I intstalled that unit (NOT Levitron) and it has been working great.
(If Amazon will permit this to be entered...look for "Heath-Zenith BL-6133"...it works great!

It works...kinda October 24, 2008 This product will turn the lights on and off, sometimes. It is finicky. Sometimes I have to try several times to turn on the light. I have to pick up the unit and wave it around and hope for the best. Sometimes I am sitting there, fat dumb and happy with the light on, it is just shuts off on its own. I'm keeping it, and using it, but it's not pretty.
Works well - alot easier that a wired 3-way switch October 13, 2008 Product works well and has alot less headaches associated with it than running wire for a new 3-way switch in an old house. The only downside - it's a little weird having to push the switch on and off and it returning to a neutral position, rather than staying in like a regular switch. Also, the cheap "on" and "off" sticker they put on the switch looks horrible and is not shown in the typical product image. Sticker comes off pretty easily though.
Works Good August 30, 2008 Works good. It does add a little noise to a fan that is hooked up to it, but that is it.
